Guitar Player Great: Justin King

September 19th, 2007 · Posted by Jeff · Leave Comments

You’ve probably seen this young virtuoso in some YouTube video or another playing jaw-dropping lines with both hands simultaneously. Maybe you’ve hired a professional mercenery to eliminate him so that your YouTube guitar pyro-technics would be ranked the highest. But there is no doubt that Justin King has got some serious talent.

Known for his innovative techniques and virtuosic style (always tempered with an overarching musicality), Justin has played all over the world, touring with Diana Krall and James Taylor as well as sharing bills with Nickel Creek, B.B. King, Keller Williams, Mason Jennings, Al Green and others. He also released a CD of original songs and instrumental compositions entitled ‘Le Bleu’, recorded at Peter Gabriel’s Real World Studios.

Take a quick look at this video and be inspired. See what you can learn from him and maybe incorporate into your own unique guitar voice.
