Here is an interesting thread in our forums that one of our friends recently posted. I’m sure you all have experienced this kind of bulls**t as well in your musical journeys. I know I have, and it really is the number one thing that frustrates me. Let’s check it out:

I need some advice about this…

So, I play guitar (obviously), have written my own songs, have a decent amount of experience, and am looking to starting a band. The only problem with this though is that everyone I find who can play decently enough is a lazy slacker or just has no drive/commitment. So far I have nobody except for myself in this, and I’d like to have the opportunity to work with other musicians and improve on my own skills with them. Does anyone have any advice that may help me find someone locally in my area? Also, should I wait until I finish highschool to start this or during college? I don’t want to postpone this…

Thank you.
