Guitar Players, it’s time to not scoff at your peer who doesn’t understand yet what the harmonic minor scale is, can’t play as many consistent 32nd notes as you, or uses a solid state amp.

Don’t be jerk.

Find something to appreciate in the other and offer your advice to help them become a better player. If they take it or discount it, at least you will feel good about yourself for trying to help out a fellow brethren.

    Great article! And this is coming from one of those hacks that Jeff is talking about. I’ve had the pleasure of playing with Jeff… years ago. Trust me, he practices what he preaches; never once leaving me in the dust as I stumbled my way from G to D.
