Coming November 28, 2008, is the new Fender Custom Shop Tribute Series Yngwie Malmsteen Strat. I am not a huge fan of Yngwie myself, but I definitely respect his monstrous chops and sweet hair-do.
(Ok maybe not the hair do)
Yngwie is one of the guitar legends that really carved out his own niche. You can immediately recognize his playing from the moment you hear it, and that is something we really admire and preach about here on GuitarPlayerZen.com: Finding Your Own Voice and Developing Your Own Style.
Even though I don’t listen to much Yngwie, I sure as hell can pick him out in a guitar line up. Distinction, innovation, and unleashing what lies within you will lead you to your own version of guitar success.
