Erm,it tends to be a bit redundant as a topic but,it has something appealing.
I got friends who are no Satch,Metheny or SRV,but who know everything about that.first of them,Jonas Kjellgren, guitarist for the band Scar Symmetry and producer.
This man should be the next featured artist of the week on GPZ.
If you want, hit me up and i’ll give you his contact data.

I don’t think studio is enough. I need something more like 3 bedroom guitar secrets!

    Merry Ho! Ho!

Yep,studio is nice but it ain’t everything.
People who suck on stage often end up in crappy studios…
So get reknown on stage first, then enter the studio.
Oh,do what you want afterall.it’s your life.
Studio is good enough for me as a producer.
    Blah.

Yeah there are definite differences to playing in the studio and playing live. These guys are doing both. Some mostly studio, some mostly stage. Basically this is more focused on how to be a professional guitar player. The studio part of it is just one important aspect, and one where a lot of professional guitar players succeed in. There will always be a demand for talented guitar players who can deliver in a studio environment, even if major studios are decreasing. People want their songs to sound good!

Also, we decided to go more towards the studio route because it seems more mystical and more unsure of how to go about getting into it. It’s always easier to try and get a live gig. But this series will be very helpful to anyone wanting to take that next step with their guitar playing!
