Are you using Twitter yet? Do you even know what Twitter is? ![]()
Sounds pretty damn ridiculous if you ask me, and why would any guitar player want to sign up for such a thing? After all, we are guitar players and are too cool for such tech widgets.
Well my fellow guitar playing buddies, it’s time to start tweeting!
The fact is that it is THE fastet growing social network out there. And my favorite thing about it is that fact that everyone on there is really welcoming and receptive. It’s a great way to make friends, meet other musicians, and form bonds that could lead to valuable collaborations or new band mates in the future.
Not to mention a fantastic way for people to learn about your music, your gigs, the new Strat you bought, and your favorite songs to play on guitar!
Once you get famous, you can even monitor what people are saying about you by utilizing twitter search.
Go ahead right now and do a search for “guitar” and make some new friends.

I just started using Twitter a couple weeks ago myself. The verdict is still out for me on it on but if you use it to it’s full potential it will probably be a good marketing tool.

Yep, Twitter’s a great and fun resource to use to communicate with other guitarists. I’ve also even discovered new music through Twitter! I can be found on Twitter at http://www.twitter.com/guitarlifestyle

I’m new to twitter, and not quite sure about it yet. It does seem like a good potential source of traffic though….we’ll see.

Good to have you on board Andy, Josh and JB! It’s a little awkward at first but after a while it can get addicting! It’s a pretty good way to communicate with other people, fans, and musicians. Look forward to your tweets!
