For 7 years, Clermont was a member of Brian Auger’s Oblivion Express touring Europe and North America with the Hammond B3 organ giant.

Chris is a natural teacher and mentor, generous with patience and knowledge. His bands and projects reflect his love for music and humanity. For the past 4 years, he has been invited by the Danish Musicians Union (DMF) and the Arts Council for the Northern Part of Denmark to conduct vocal seminars as well as perform around the country.

Watch out for TRANSpHaT, a blues/funk/rock trio featuring Chris Clermont, Mark London Sims (Ben Harper, General Public), & Henrik EngQvist (Robben Ford, Justo Almario).

Chris was one of our featured spotlight artists in our interview series, Studio Guitar Secrets:  Making Guitar Your Career.  He spoke with me for about 2 hours on how he become successful, what his secrets are, and what tips and concepts you need to know if you are interested in becoming a professional guitarist.

Check out a clip below, and if you are interested, go to the Studio Guitar Secrets Page and buy the whole audio series!
