I love the idea, but my only concern is that I play by ear pretty much exclusively, and worry that maybe they would only seek players with notation experience, but I will be sure to check it out anyhow.

Hi Jeff & co., I’m a 45 y/o guitar instructor with not enuf session experience. Graduate of Musicians Institute (GIT). Really like your site so far and expect to mention it at work later today, possibly reccomending it to more advanced students & certainly co-workers. Thanx, and I’ll be looking forward to receiving the 7 habits of succesful studio pros insider information.

Thanks Fernando! We really appreciate that and would love it even more if you would contribute some of your own wisdom and advice as well! Or maybe some stories from GIT!
Just register (it’s free) and write away and we will post it up!

Monte,
I just finished a 4 day gig with some of our mutual cohorts in music…
I did not believe what was said to me, until I got back home and checked
the internet ….
Monte, I, we, here at Hill Country Youth Ranch, love you so much, and
will now, starting tomorrow morning, include Sophia and family into our
morning prayers …
We have been blessed by your spirit through honest and heartfelt contributions,
and want you to know that we are here for you…..
If you wish to come out to the hill country and mentor our kids, write songs,
or just reflect and daydream, we will welcome you, always …
We have a cabin on the Frio river waiting for you ….
Stay as long as you wish …
You see Monte , for the past 14 years that I’ve been with Hill Country Youth
Ranch, I have seen things …
When I met you …
I witnessed your tears of hope for our kids….
I have witnessed those tears fall onto your strings…..
And I have heard the beauty, which is a gift from that place, that fills you up,
when the poem is in your phones…..
I, We love you …….

Hey Jeff!
Just ordered my copy so I can do what all us studio guys do…steal ideas off other players!! (I’m kidding!!)
Seriously, you have some fine players interviewed there and I want to learn all I can!
Thanks!
Ron Z
PS
New CD out before Thanksgiving!
(and my website may or may not be up before Novenber1 2009)
