Hi! My name is Benjamin Lechuga, and I’m a Chilean guitar player/composer. I Started playing the electric guitar around the age of 10. In 2003 I was asked to join the band “Delta” and we recorded our first CD “Apollyon is free” together. 2005 was a very active year, having important gigs such us opening a show for Stratovarius and winning the “Ibanez Project” contest with my friend Fabian Aravales made us the first under-18 Ibanez endorsers in Chile, and probably, worldwide. With all of this good vibes, on early 2006 we started recording a new Delta CD called “Black & Cold” which is available and for sale. Last year I was also endorsed by “Magma Strings.” But I ended my contract last September. During this last years with Delta I have been writing solo material which I am recording at the moment! A few tracks are almost done, while I have a lot of work to do on other ones. I am my own producer, composer, arranger, guitar player and “sound engineer”. It has been real fun, but exhausting! Real hard working! I also proudly use and endorse “Darkglass FX” (http://darkglassfx.blogspot.com/) He did a totally customized Rebote Delay for me and it RULES. Today I study Composition & Instrumental Arrangements in the “Escuela Moderna de Musica” Here in Santiago, Chile.
