Eric Brewer

What’s up, my name is Eric Brewer. I’m 22 years old and I am a guitarist based out of Fairview, PA, just outside Erie. I like to throw down hot fire. I’ll keep the bio brief here (if you want the full version, click on my sonicbids link): I picked up my first guitar at age 16 and haven’t put it down since. While still in high school, I took college courses in music at a local university and played in their classical ensemble. I also took private instruction on the side from local guitar master, Mike Ohm, who shared a wealth of information with me. After finishing high school, I was able to enter Pittsburgh’s Duquesne University School of Music with college credits and a nice scholarship already in hand. After hanging out in Pittsburgh for a few years, I returned to my hometown to forge on from here. I’m an avid songwriter as well as performer and guitar teacher.

Aside from my solo work, currently I play with several bands, with my number 1 being Erie’s long time favorite Funk/Rock/Jazz/Jam/and whatever else you want to call it band, Spooner. I also play in Trev Zeppelin - the best non-tribute band around, and with singer/songwriter Claire Stuczynski, cover band Blonde Faith, and any number of special projects as they arise. I was member of the RockErie Awards House Band in August and we eventually will carry on that act as well. Keep an eye out for future appearances by “House Band”.
