A prolific composer and passionate performer, Maneli Jamal creates eclectic, adventurous and moving songs that capture the imagination of his audiences and the attention of other musicians.

Having dedicated himself to the exploration of acoustic guitar technique, Maneli is developing his own sound. Traditional flamenco and classical styles combine with his own “two-hand tap” technique, creating a full and modern sound.

Maneli’s musical journey began in Austin, Texas, where much of his musical inspiration derives from. The second track off of his EP, the appropriately named “Austinites”, was written in memory of life back in Austin.

Immersed in Toronto’s music scene, and having recently debuted his new EP on CIUT 89.5 FM, every day brings him one step closer to realizing his dream of becoming an internationally acclaimed artist. The feel of his guitar in his hands and endless opportunities for creative endeavor are what drive Maneli to his guitar each day.
